Leon
Robinson has exhibited throughout the city of Boston
for nearly forty years, and for most of those years,
the urban landscape has been his theme. He has chronicled
and recorded the changing faces of the South End,
Back Bay and Roxbury areas. He relishes the architectural
forms, using light and shadows as his muse. Leon
has on many occasions used the same subject matter
and painted it at different times of day and night,
achieving a uniqueness of time and place.
